English term or phrase: crimp
Relating to my query about "crimping machines", I also wondered what the end result of the crimping of a hose and coupling would be called. In English they are called crimps, but what would it be in Norwegian?
Here is a phrase for "crimps":
"An electronic measuring system ensures highly accurate crimps for each and every coupling."

Hva med krymp, rett og slett?
Jeg finner på nett at det er brukt sånn enkete steder. Andre bruker "krymping", som f.eks.
"Når lunte med fenghette skal benyttes i vannfylte hull, skal krympingen dekkes med tetningsmiddel for å hindre at vann trenger inn i fenghetten."
