Uten å være spesialist må jeg stole på min iFinger-ordbok fra Kunnskapsforlaget som i forbindelse med damp sier dampsperre, og i parentes vakuumfelle. Også ledeplate, skvalpeplate og slingreplate finnes som oversettelse, men kanskje i andre sammenhenger enn damp. På tysk (leo.org) finnes en lang rekke oversettelser av baffle, de fleste har med stopp eller omledning å gjøre. Det er ikke enkelt å oversette baffle. |
