Explanation:
"trap" could possibly be used for the procedure by which the computer internet connection recognizes special code sequences, so as to differentiate betweeen a web page being downloaded to the browser and an e-mail message, to be intercepted and received by the email client program. Both processes often happen simultaneously, so the system must have a way to discriminate between them to avoid total havoc
