cameralistic accounting:

The accounts of the core governments are kept on a modified cash basis. All revenues and expenditures are recorded twice, when due and when collected or paid, respectively. The amount of revenues and expenditures due but not received and collected at the end of the fiscal year (which is the calendar year) are shown in the accounts as receivables and payables. The bookkeeping method used is single entry called ‘cameralistic accounting’.
