Do tej pory wydawało mi się, że ambient temperature to temperatura otoczenia, czyli zewnętrzna. A to tutaj, to co jest? Wewnętrzna temperatura otoczenia???

IMO - w pomieszczeniu też jest temperatura otoczenia. A na zewnątrz - może być zimniej lub cieplej - jak wyjdziemy to tam będzie otoczenie.
