rozprzestrzenianiem sie ognia. Określone są minimalne wymagania, jakie musi spełniać pochłaniacz ognia.
W punktach a i b określona jest proporcja objętości zajmowanej przez
materiał tłumiący (np. piankę poliuretanowa) do pustej przestrzeni (nie próżni), w której może dojść do zapłonu gazu. Określone jest też maksymalne ciśnienie w trakcie zapłonu przy ciśnieniu początkowym 3 psig, przy którym tłumienie ognia zadziała.
