Notes to answerer
Asker: Dzięki :) Wiem, że w guglu etc., ale ja się na tym temacie w ogóle nie znam, to zdanie pada jako przykład w instruktażowym wideo o pracowniczym BHP, a nie w tekście inzyniersko-samolotowym i kompletnie nie byłam pewna czy np. arresting gear to dokładnie to samo co arrestor wire ;)

Asker: o BHP, nie o pracowniczym BHP oczywiście, BHP jest zawsze "pracownicze"... ech, zmęczenie.

agree  maciejm: W tekście BHP wystarczy "lina hamująca". Sa jeszcze (na stałym lotnisku, nie na lotniskowcu) siatki, tzw. potocznie migołapki.
