He discovered that it is possible to raise 10 miniature cows on five acres, rather than just two full-sized cows, meaning that land could yield up to three times as much beef – but the cows only need one third of the feed.

to znaczy, ze że hodowla tych zwierząt może dać nawet do trzech razy więcej wołowiny - zwierzęta potrzebują jednak tylko 1/3 typowej ilości karmy? - niestety, nie wiem jak ładnie zamknąć to zdanie... Dziękuję za pomoc.

  -> Dziękuję za wsparcie merytoryczne.:) Jednak mamy "only", nie "up to" - nie jestem pewien, czy można to tłumaczyć jako "do".
