On pourrait utiliser "cabotin" plutôt que charlatan (mountebank) pour donner un peu de couleur.
Quant ŕ "horrible"...ce peut ętre plusieurs autres mots: abominable, dégoűtant, détestable etc.
Ce détestable oiseau cabotin qui se dandine (plutôt que se balance)
