If I went away and wrote a song, it was daft sitting around and waiting for the other top help come up with the ideas, it was a lot easier to complete it on my own. So if I got stuck coming up with themiddle eight bars of a song I was writing, I d give it to John and ask for ideas and he would finish it off for me.

A wiec gdybym utknal na srodkowych 8 taktach piosenki, ktora bym pisal dalbym ja Johnowi i poprosil go o pomysly, a on by skonczyl ja dla mnie.
To rzeczywiscie nie wydaje sie bardzo sensowne, ale rozumiem, ze chodzi o niemoznosc piosania bez towarzystwa Johna (a nie po prostu samemu). Kiedy go nie bylo zamiast pisac piosenke samemu, czekal Bog wie na co i tracil czas. A keidy John byl w poblizu, mogl wspomoc w przypadku problemow.

Czy przypadkiem nie powinno być "...for the other TO help come up..."

To tylko minimalnie zmienia sens: nie miało sensu czekanie na tego drugiego. Znacznie łatwiej było skończyć piosenkę samemu.

Pytanie zobaczyłem wczoraj wieczorem, ale to już było czytanie bez zrozumienia. Te zdania rzeczywiście nie za bardzo się trzymają kupy, ale cóż... i tak byli genialni.

Na marginesie, czy Lacrimosa zdradzi jaką książkę tłumaczy? :-)
