Tech/Engineering - Computers: Systems, Networks / SIPIP MRP manual
English term or phrase: erode
The freezing operation is not performed by MRP but during the following one that memorises the Suppliers Order Programs. This means that during the MRP the calculation of the order program is done as if there were no freezing and upon OP memorisation the quantity in the frozen OP within the freezing horizon and the new ones calculated within the same horizon are compared.

The difference between such quantities, if positive (OP recalculated > than the frozen one), is entered in the first day following the frozen horizon, if negative is ERODED from the OP recalculated starting from the first day following the frozen horizon.

In this stage the parameter "Frozen OP stock", in MRP2 Table starts operating,

values "Blank" and "N".

If the parameter has got value = "Blank" and the OP recalculated in the frozen horizon is higher than the frozen one and the difference is higher that the safety stock in the master file, then the difference in respect of the stock is added, in any case, to the frozen OP.

Through such parameterisation, the OP in the frozen horizon is, in any case, modified if the requirement difference is not compensated by the safety stock.

If the parameter has got value "N" that shall not occur.

Can it be translated as "usuwac, odejmowac"? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks

Tak proponuję... Wychodzi na jedno z usuwać, odejmować, ale tak mi lepiej tu pasuje.
