English to Polish translations [PRO] Education / Pedagogy | | English term or phrase: pre-school vs playgroup vs nursery | Jak powyżej. Najbardziej interesuje mne pre-school i playgroup. Czy któreś można przetłumaczyć jako ognisko? Aha! Rzecz dzieje się w UK. ;)
PWN-Oxford podaje: "preschool playgroup" - grupa przedszkolna. Niestety w tekście mam te dwa określenia rozdzielone.... Czy ew. można wrzucić wszystko do jednego wora i określić jako placówki edukacji wczesnoszkolnej? |
I hope that's clear!

'Play and stay' sounds similar, but I understand playgroups as being non-local authority run. Isn't 'play and stay' a way of encouraging parents/guardians to become involved in their child's development? Or maybe just giving children the opportunity to attend a couple of hours or sessions at daycare (together with their parents/guardians)??? Not the same as playgroup, but I don't know what the equivalent would be in Polish. |
