W instrukcji obsługi detektora/miernika skażeń (German English), w rozdziale Fault Finding, w tabeli o tej samej nazwie, w rubryce "fault/error" jest taka pozycja: After pressing on key X the warning lamp flashes, but no bleep sounds., a w rubryce "cause" napisano:
>sound partition< defective.

Ton = sound
Teil = partition

Możliwe, że Tonteil zostało przetłumaczone jako "sound partition", bo tłumacz - ludzki albo automatyczny - pomylił się.
A w przypadku detektora skażeń taki akurat termin IMO nie ma sensu.

IMO detektor wydaje dźwięk w rodzaju cykania albo tykania, ale to już do sprawdzenia przez askera u klienta.

Jeszcze dobrze byłoby pracować na oryginalnej niemieckiej instrukcji, o ile dostępna.
