To urządzenia wraz z obwiązaniem technologicznym. Nie zawsze stanowią linię produkcyjną główną. Na przykład instalacja sprężonego powietrza w zakładzie produkcji plastikowych elementów na wtryskarkach to Compressed air plant i nie jest główna linia produkcyjną.

Oczywiście Installation to instalacja mówiąc najprościej ale dodanie plant to jakby włączenie do tego urządzęń jakiegoś procesu technologicznego. Ale duzym uproszczeniem jest mówienie o tym linia produkcyjna nawet za cene utraty elegancji określenia w języku polskim.
