Oznacza to, że lidding machine, czyli pakowarka do tacek, zostawia kawałek folii wystający poza tackę (outside czy inside, w obu przypadkach folia jest zapewne zgrzewana z tacką...).
Ponadto wygląda na to, że jeśli stosujemy outside cut, wówczas lepiej, żeby folia dobrze się ściągała
- high shrink films for outside cut equipment
Gdy zaś stosujemy inside cut, wówczas lepiej, żeby folia nie ściągała się zbytnio, gdyż może się oderwać od krawędzi tacki
- low/medium shrink structures for inside cut equipment
