This is one of the most frequently used expressions in U.S. politics now. Basically it means "to shilly-shally", "to lallygag", "to play for time" etc. Its origins can be traced to a popular children's game.
Does anybody know a neat Polish equivalent? My first pick is "grać na zwłokę", but I hope there's more good stuff out there. |
