Zasiłek ten nie ma nic wspólnego z podatkiem, jego nazwa nie odzwierciedla jego istoty, trzeba więc albo tłumaczyć go opisowo ("working tax credit" - zasiłek "tax credit" przyznawany osobie pracującej w rodzinie której dochód nie przekracza 25 tysięcy funtów rocznie; child tax credit - zasiłek "tax credit" na dziecko w rodzinie, w której dochód nie przekracza 50 tys. funtów rocznie) albo poddać się i pisać zasiłek "tax credit" bez wchodzenia w szczegóły, co osobiście proponuję.
