Ulotka dotycząca wspomnianego przyrządu pomiarowego - jest to rozwijana taśma miernicza w obudowie, która służy do dokonywania pomiaru masy zwierzęcia, w tym wypadku loszki; na skali, oprócz jednostek długości, znajdują się też jednostki masy oraz punkty w skali oceny kondycji ciała.

(...) The beginning of the tape must be held in 1 hand on 1 side of the flank of the gilt. With the other hand, the tape is taken straight over the highest point of the back of the animal. On the other side the kilograms of the gilt can be seen on the tape exactly at the opposite flank.

Nie bardzo wiem, jak przetłumaczyć tu "flank", i czy uwzględnić w polskiej nazwie przyrządu ten aspekt "flank-to-flank".

Znalazłem coś, co nazywa się "miarka zoometryczna", nie wiem czy nie funkcjonują inne nazwy tego ustrojstwa.
