It is the first small wind company to be listed publicly (on the OTC BB - HLXW, since February 09), its vertical axis turbines perform better in turbulent winds compared to traditional bladed turbines and it has won out over several other horizontal technologies in being selected by the Oklahoma Medical Research Facility, to supply wind energy for its research tower.
