Lubię jeździć na rowerze i też mi za to nie płacą. Jak skończę studia opłaty pobierać będę, ale póki co trzeba ćwiczyć, bo nie popełnia błędów ten, kto nic nie robi :)

Jak sądzę Pytająca nie ma przed sobą kartki tylko z tym zdaniem, lecz więcej tekstu. Co więcej, tłumaczy go, więc jak mniemam musi przynajmniej _trochę_ rozumieć tekst źródłowy i docelowy. Jeżeli jest inaczej, to biada czytelnikom tego tłumaczenia.
Jeśli Pytająca nie zna znaczenia terminu, to skąd może wiedzieć, że to statystyka? Tłumaczenia podawane przez słownik sugerują inne dziedziny - znaczenie tego terminu, a więc i kategorię, w podanym kontekście trzeba właśnie ustalić.
Jakiej dziedziny "nauk ścisłych" dotyczy to pytanie?
