The equation of the linear regression line between
age and TL was calculated by the least square
method and the value of its slope was regarded as
an overall growth rate for A. japonica leptocephali.
TL = total length
leptocefale = larwy
Równanie prostej regresji liniowej między wiekiem i TL obliczono metodą najmniejszych kwadratów, a wartość jej nachylenia uważano za ogólne tempo wzrostu dla leptocefali A. japonica.
Tak to przetłumaczyłem, może coś jednak źle rozumiem.

skupmy się na pytaniu tu zadanym, które jest już w sumie rozwikłane (dzieki Arrakisa pomysłom)

Równanie prostej regresji liniowej opisujące zależność pomiędzy wiekiem i TL uzyskano korzystając z metody najmniejszych kwadratów, a kąt nachylenia (prostej) odpowiadał (uznano za odpowiadający)....
Tak to powinno wyglądać. Znowu te drobne niuanse i "ozdobniki" w stosunku do języka angielskiego, z którymi spotkaliśmy się w innym pytaniu ocierającym się o modelowanie. Nie da się niestety zastosować ukochanej kalki. :)
