It allows to place a marker on the iris recess and measure the angle between the point on the trabecular meshwork at a distance of 500µm/750 µm and the point on the iris perpendicularly.

Kąt definiowano w AS-OCT jako zamknięty przy kontakcie obwodowej tęczówki ze ścianą kąta do przodu od ostrogi twardówki i w gonioskopii wg Spaetha stopień 0° (niewidoczna tylna siateczka beleczkowania).
Angle closure was defined by AS-OCT as contact between the peripheral iris and angle wall anterior to the scleral spur and by gonioscopy as a Spaeth grade of 0° (posterior trabecular meshwork not visible)

Called also Hueck's ligament, ligamentum pectinatum anguli iridocornealis, pectinate ligament, pectinate ligament of iris, and trabecular meshwork.
