Explanation:
Grandma made her way to Tockoje and enlisted in the Polish Army on 1 May 1942 and was posted to 6 Company, Polish Women's Auxilliary, HQ, 6 Infantry Division. On 11 May 1942 while in the Middle East she was posted to the PWAS Reserve Centre, Polish Air Force Rally Station and transferred to the UK arriving on 9 September 1943. She was then posted as Commander of the PWAS Camp in Scotland.

Wraz z innymi polskimi lotnikami po zakończeniu lotów bojowych w Polsce, Bzowski
przedostaje się do Rumunii, gdzie został internowany. Ucieka z obozu rumuńskiego i po wielu
perypetiach, okrężną drogą dociera do Francji. Tam jesienią 1939r. spotkaliśmy się na
lotnisku Lyon - Brawn, które było dla nas jednym z punktów zbornych..."
