anyone please check references before judging me off! "terminal" is a PIN & chip device for both chip card and swipe card (magnetic stripe card). It's because some card do not have a chip as a rule like American Express (Amex) and not matter how hard you try, it wont take PIN. As far as i know, in Poland only swipe card are used but here in uk, the Chip & PIN device take both swipe cards and cheap cards

disagree  Tomasz Sienicki: ale tu nie chodzi o terminal ogólnie, tylko konkretnie o ten typ, który obsługuje (również) karty z chipem, a nie tylko te z paskiem magnetycznym
