I doubt very much there's a translation; traditional sports are highly culture-specific.
I would describe them as follows:
Gaelic football: similar to rugby football in that hands can be used, and with similar goal H-shaped posts; points are scored both over the bar and under the bar
Hurling: an ancient and very fast game played with sticks called hurleys, used to propel a ball from one end of the field to the other.
