Moim zdaniem to typowy przykład sytuacji, w której użycie metaforyczne terminu zdominowało język tak, że zapominamy, że pryzmat to przede wszystkim przyrząd optyczny (uwieczniony na okładce "Ciemnej strony Księzyca"). Ja bym starał się zachować dosłowność tej metafory. Jeśli razi Cię sam pryzmat, to może "pryzmat rozszczepiający światło" albo coś takiego?

Moim zdaniem to typowy przykład sytuacji, w której użycie metaforyczne terminu zdominowało język tak, że zapominamy, że pryzmat to przede wszystkim przyrząd optyczny (uwieczniony na okładce "Ciemnej strony Księzyca"). Ja bym starał się zachować dosłowność tej metafory. Jeśli razi Cię sam pryzmat, to może "pryzmat rozszczepiający światło" albo coś takiego?
