|In order for any discussion to be technically possible, it should, indeed, be moved to a forum. However, since I am not sure how many of those potentially interested visit ProZ forums, let me just clarify my original thought: It is, of course, up to the asker to decide which answer best suits his/her needs. What I would like to avoid is making choices which are either plainly wrong (doesn't happen too often) or which disregard answers which are not only correct but even more appropriate. How do we know? By looking at "agree/disagree" comments (I know, those can be wrong or biased too) or, and this is my suggestion, by waiting 24 hrs., not before using someone's answer but before grading it. That will give more chance to peers around the globe to come up with additional comments/ contributions thus allowing an optimal choice. (Sometimes, no choice is possible, but that is a separate issue.)|
