Potrzebuję ten idiom przełożyć w taki sposób, aby czaiła się tam subtelna obraza Pani Andrews. 'horse' w angielskim spełnia tę role w oryginale. W j. polskim wyrażenia takie jak 'z pewnego źródła' czy 'z pierwszej ręki' nie są w stanie oddać ukrytego sensu. Any ideas?
