Omawiając różne sposoby druku offsetowego, należy także wspomnieć o technice druku , łączącej typografię z offsetem, zwanej letterset ( połączenie wyrazów letterpress i offset). Jest to tzw. Suchy druk offsetowy. Zamiast płyt offsetowych z wytrawionym rysunkiem, naniesionym ręcznie lub fotograficznie, nakłada się cylinder drukowy płyty cynkowe lub płyty z tworzywa sztucznego, w których wytrawiony został rysunek na głębokość 0,3 mm.
