English term or phrase: curtainsider, etc
I am looking for Polish equivalents of the following terms
I understand that these refer to different types of trucks
I also have additional questions regarding some items.

* Curtainsider
* Tilt
* Tipper

what's the difference between tilt and tipper

* Box van
* Reefer
* Flatbed / Chassis
* Tanker silo box non food
* Tanker silo box food grade

why 'silo box'?

Your help will be appreciated.

Polish translation:CIĘŻARÓWKA Z ZABUDOWĄ PLANDEKOWĄ ZSUWANĄ
Explanation:
Piotr,

Unfortunately, Polish is not as flexible and concise as English, especially with technical terms. Here are my suggestions on your trucks:

CURTAINSIDER = CIĘŻARÓWKA Z ZABUDOWĄ PLANDEKOWĄ ZSUWANĄ
Back of this truck is covered with canvas. Side of the load compartment is slid to the side in order to enable loading.

TILT TRUCK / TIPPER = WYWROTKA
I reckon that a tilt truck dumps the load to its side, while the tipper dumps the load to its back. However, the Polish equivalent for both is the same. Some chassis are built in a manner that enables switching between these two modes (tilting and tipping).

BOX VAN = FURGON / CIĘŻARÓWKA Z NADWOZIEM ZAMKNIĘTYM/KRYTYM
In Polish, CIĘŻARÓWKA refers to A VAN, A TRUCK, A LORRY. Confusing, isn't it?

REEFER = CHŁODNIA
Probably from REFRIGERATION

FLATBED = PLATFORMA

CHASSIS = PODWOZIE

TANKER SILO BOX (used as Adjectives)
I think it means either of, rather than all at once, i.e. TANKER/SILO/BOX FOOD GRADE.

TANKER = CYSTERNA
For liquid loads.

SILO = SILOS / ZBIORNIK DO MATERIAŁÓW SYPKICH
Similar to a tanker, but for solid loose/powdery loads (e.g. flour, cement, grain, etc.)

BOX = ZABUDOWA ZAMKNIĘTA/KRYTA

FOOD GRADE = DO PRZEWOZU ŻYWNOŚCI
NON FOOD = DO PRZEWOZU MATERIAŁÓW NIESPOŻYWCZYCH
There are different regulatory requirements for the food grade and non food grade containers.

Hope that it helps you out, Piotr.
