The term downstream refers to network devices that are closer to some video communications unit. For example, the PRI network interface module might be downstream from your PBX, which, in turn, is downstream from a telephone company switch. Your PBX is ***upstream*** from the PRI network interface module.
Spotkalem sie z takim tłumaczeniem pierwszego zdania:
"Termin upstream odnosi się do urządzeń sieciowych, które działaniem przypominają transmisję danych, oferowane przez operatora telefonicznego."
Mam pewne wątpliwości gdyż zazwyczaj upstream i downstream oznacza sygnał wychodzący i wchodzący lub od klienta i do klienta.
