W tekście dotyczącym kontroli dostarczonych surowców.
Car Tank Delivery.

Tank cars are to be sample as soon as possible upon arrival.
A cycle of standard which consists of 12 tanker at a maximum (3 tankers are clustered to one lot number).
Entering an initial on the tank car´s accompanying form for approval and handing it over to the production employee in charge of tank car handling thus indicating the tank car being ready for unloading.

Czy 'tank car' to może być samochód cysterna czy jednak wagon?
Zastanawia mnie też "a cycle os standard", może to powinno naprowadzić.

Z innego pliku wynikało, że "tank car" to jednak cysterna samochodowa... więc jednak wybieram tę odpowiedź, choć nie na paliwo :)

disagree  Polangmar: Cysterna kolejowa to zbiornik do przewozu koleją - w tym sensie wyraz "car" nie został przetłumaczony. || Dodałem odnośniki potwierdzające, że cysterna kolejowa to sam zbiornik (a więc nie cały wagon - na jednym zdjęciu jest, owszem, na platformie).

  -> Całkowicie się nie zgadzam! "Tank car" to "cysterna kolejowa" (jako wagon specjalny)- tak podają wszystkie słowniki i w takim znaczeniu pojawia się w kontekście. Nie mnożmy wyrazów "car"

disagree  maciejm: "Wyjaśnienie" nic nie wnosi do sprawy. Cysterna, to zarówno kontener-cysterna, jak i wagon-cysterna. Nie dziel włosa na czworo.

  -> Cysterna to nie wagon - nazwanie wagonu cysterną to tak, jak nazwanie naczepy samochodem ciężarowym. Poza tym wagon cysterna, a nie "wagon-cysterna" (to nie jest zarówno wagon, jak i cysterna, lecz wagon z cysterną - a więc wagon cysterna).
