Essa massa deliciosa e incrível é colocada em um pãozinho do tipo baguete crocante o suficiente para absorver os sucos da carne e o queijo derretido sem se desintegrar, mais cebolas grelhadas. Locais conhecidos como Gino’s, Jim’s, Pat’s e Tony Luke’s fazem questão de atestar a superioridade de seus sanduíches de cheesesteak. Em nome da pesquisa, resolvi provar a comida dos quatro em uma única saída. Ai de mim! Continuo ainda em cima do muro sem saber direito qual é o melhor.

Na verdade o "pãozinho " tem um mínimo de 15 cm e a carne não é "file" e é cortado fino enquanto o bloco de carne está congelado. e as cebolas são fritas junto com a carne.
