Deixando de lado essas controvérsias, convém manter-se, apenas, na distinção que desde a Conferência da OACI, de 1977, se aclarou entre serviço de transporte regular e serviço de transporte não-regular, como, aliás, decorre dos arts. 5º, 2ª parte que cuida do vôo não regular e do art. 6º, que trata dos serviços aéreos regulares (Scheduled air services), ambos da Convenção de Chicago.
