English to Portuguese translations [PRO]

English term or phrase: blurb
"This is actually what happens when the ATP is produced directly in glycolysis n the Krebs cycle. And this is where you have an enzyme directly helping to peruse the ATP without any type of chemiosmosis or proton gradient.
So if you imagine an enzyme, some blurb,some big protein blurb."

Explanation:
De fato, o termo está muito mal empregado, porque "blurb" é uma gíria para fragmento de texto promocional (q.v. abaixo). Mas acontece que, neste texto, a pessoa se confundiu e misturou "blob" (gota, bolinha, mancha) com "blurb", que nada tem a ver com aspecto físico, provavelmentr porque estava tentando transmitirr a idéia de algo mais substancial (e informe).

Portanto os dicionários não vão ajudar nem um pouco. O que precisamos é de uma gíria ou termo popular que expresse a mesma idéia (é óbvio, pois que se trata de uma tradução), ou seja, alguma massa informe, uma pelota (não confundir com o termo em espanhol, o qual invadiu o vocabulário dos locutores esportivos tupiniquins) ou então bolota. Certamente nada a ver com o sentido correto da palavra "blurb".
