a máquina de cardar, carda, que é uma das fases de fabrico.Ao cardar, completa-se o destrinçamento das fibras e, posteriormente sua limpeza. Desfazendo-se nós e limpando ainda mais as fibras, ao retirar o restante das impurezas, a cardação permite que se forme uma fita ou pasta homogênea própria para ser fiada.
