Em PT-BR se diz pedra de amolar mesmo, este 'umedecida' do termo em inglês é porque normalmente se afia as ferramentas com lubrificação, a seco pode provocar a perda da têmpera do fio. Uma grafia alternativa para Wet Stone (bem mais usada, por sinal) é 'whetstone', traduzida como pedra de amolar mesmo. |
