Battery-rundown test

We use our own custom Computer Shopper Battery-Rundown Test to measure tablet battery life. We play a video file repeatedly until the battery is completely drained.

What does it test?

The Battery-Rundown Test tells us how long the battery will last on a single charge while the tablet performs a simple multimedia task—in this case, playing an M4V movie file (a rip of the Star Trek DVD) with the tablet set to airplane mode (broadband Internet and Wi-Fi radios disabled).
