disagree  Daniel Tavares: Desculpe, Teresa, mas, neste contexto (que envolve Sistemas Operacionais) a sugestão do MLeiria (cede o controle) é mais apropriada. Um SO preemptivo (praticamente todos os atuais) é um SO em que um dispositivo ou software "rouba" o controle do outro.
