F) GRINDING TABLE
a) Clean the gearbox flange, check the tapped holes including the drive pins and apply a little oil.
b) Clean the supporting surface for the grinding table.
c) Place the grinding table on the gearbox flange.
d) Use a feeler gauge to check whether the grinding table is seated snugly on the gearbox flange.
e) According to the mill design, there are two ways for connecting of the grinding table with the gearbox (No. 20 of list of drawings). Depend on the design please choose the right procedure.
1) Pre-heat the bolts in an oil bath at around 120°C above the ambient temperature and tighten them, proceeding diagonally. Secure the bolts by welding to them the flat steel sections for locking.
2) P&S superbolt system

f) Place the cover in position and screw it down.
i) Insert the segments of the grinding ring. Distribute the segments evenly over the
circumference of the grinding ring.
j) Attach the clamping ring.
k) Attach the scrapers make certain that there is a sufficient clearance (approx. 20 mm) between scraper and mill gas duct.
I) Insert the louvre ring and armour ring (No. 24 of list of drawings). The locking arrangement is fixed after the mill body has been assembled and erected
m) Attach the wearing ring.
n) Attach sealing between gearbox and mill stand.
