Explanation:
Não entendo grande coisa de culinária, mas para mim o "pack" da expressão está sobrando. Talvez sirva para referir às passas "de caixinha" (tipo "Sun Maid") úmidas e prontas para consumo. Eram bem comuns nas bombonères dos cinemas de certo tempo atrás, com uma marca de que não lembro o nome. Acho que o autor quer evitar que se atirem passas secas à salada.
