I know what it is, but cannot think of anything good for a translation...

Explanation:
Por aquilo que li, penso que o Honor Point é a atribuição de pontos académicos correspondentes à classificação obtida durante o semestre ou ano lectivo. Ou seja o aluno teve 3 A e 2 B para poder expressar isso é-lhe atribuido um nota académica o tal Honor Point para depois poder somar e chegar a um total. Os exemplos em baixo explicam melhor.

Why Honor Points Matter
Students are placed on academic probation if either the term grade point average or the cumulative grade point average falls below 2.0. If your cumulative grade point average falls below 2.0 you have an Honor Point Deficit (HPD).
