Explanation:
What does 'pre-watershed' mean?

Before 9pm. after 9pm is called 'after the watershed' and it is when they air programmes that have swearing or nudity in because children should be in bed by then. so a pre-watershed version is a version with no swearing or nudity so younger viewers can see it.

A “mancha horária” (watershed) se inicia às 21h e segue até às 05h30. Material que não seja apropriado para menores de 15 anos não deve ser transmitido fora desse horário, a não ser em caso de conteúdos com controle de acesso. Filmes classificados como “adult-sex” só podem ser exibidos entre 22h e 05h30 e somente com controle de acesso. Filmes que tenham sua classificação recusada pelo British Board of Film Classification (’BBFC’) não podem ser exibidos em qualquer horário
