An Authority subject is based on a QSA syllabus and QSA-aproved school program, for which the standards of assessment are moderated.
An Authority-registered subject is based on a QSA area specification (SAS) and QSA-aproved school program, for which the standards of assessment are moderated.
Levels of achievement in Authority and Authority-registered subjects are reported only for students in those schools that accept QSA conditions and follow the QSA procedures for the moderation of standards.
