simão está mais certo, mas hoje em dia, se utiliza mais batch mesmo (mais de 80% das pessoas relacionadas).

Pode ser que funciona lote no Portugal, mas no Brasil ninguém entende essa palavra em campo de ciência de computação (pelo menso na empresa que trabalhei por mais de 30 anos).
