This will keep all internal cylinder parts, especially plungers, from operating correctly, thereby affecting dough scaling. Any leak around vacuum shoes means that air will be drawn in from the atmosphere rather than from plungers, causing erratic scaling. (TRATA-SE DE MASSA DE PÃO)
