The aircraft operator is solely responsible for insuring that Customs receives notification of the pilot’s intentions. At least one hour advance notice of arrival must be provided
at most locations, and should ideally be provided directly to the U.S. Customs office at your destination. “ADCUS” should not be relied upon for customs notification, but flight plans should indicate the number of U.S. and non-U.S. citizens on the flight. Operations at Landing Rights facilities require U.S. Customs approval (not just notification).
