boston baked beans feijão assado, à moda de Boston

Explanation:
Deve ser horrível. Olha só a receita:

4 cups cooked or canned navy beans
1/3 cup molasses (melado)
2 tablespoons brown sugar (açucar mascavo)
1 teaspoon dry mustard (mostarda em pó)
1 teaspoon ground ginger (gengibre)
1 teaspoon salt (sal)
1 tablespoon safflower oil (óleo)
1 large onion, sliced into rings (cebola)

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Combine all the ingredients except the oil and onion in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish, along with 1/4 cup of water. Mix thoroughly. Cover and bake 30 minutes.

Heat the oil in a skillet. When it is hot, add the onion, stirring to separate the rings, and saute until brown. After the beans have baked for 30 minutes, top with the onions and bake, uncovered, for another 10 minutes. Serve at once

Só se eu estivesso com muuuuuuuuita fome.

boston baked beans feijão

Explanation:
Prezada Andrea,

  -> Thanks, Michele!

agree João Roque Dias: Parece-me claro: "I hope you like beans, BBB" parece indicar que se está a falar de feijão e não de doces...

agree Sormane Fitzgerald Gomes: Concordo, Paul.

-> Thanks, João and Sormane; nice to know we're not just "talkin' a hill o' beans, here"!
