Dou este contributo apenas como alternativa a "líder da matilha". "Líder" é anglicismo, entrado no português de Portugal sobretudo via português do Brasil, mas completamente aceite na actualidade. No entanto, "chefe da matilha" é uma expressão mais castiça. Poderosamente utilizada no sentido figurado, quando se quer depreciativamente referir a pessoa que comanda, ou dirige, um grupo movido por interesses opostos aos nossos.
