Esta "bolsa" não é, naturalmente, uma bolsa de mulher. Nem tampouco é uma tradução "inventada". É mesmo assim a designação técnica que se dá a um tipo especial de envelopes que são feitos de material diferente do que o cartão dos envelopes normais. Podem ser de materiais sintéticos reciclados e que parecem mais de plástico. Veja estes exemplos:

No entanto, as suas referências de contexto são designações de envelopes mesmo e não de bolsas. Alguns exemplos mencionados no contexto podem ser encontrados em diversos locais (como, por exemplo, aqui: http://www.simply-envelopes.co.uk/article/14/flaps). Portanto, traduzir simplesmente como "envelopes" pode ser apropriado. Mas, se deseja ser mais técnico e está certo que se refere mesmo a estes outros envelopes de materiais de poly, então "bolsas" também estará correcto.
